Hello loves! Happy Monday! I had the most fantastic weekend and woke up feeling so positive and energetic. I hope you all enjoyed our 1st year anniversary post and wedding recap on Sunday! I don’t think I have ever actually posted on a Sunday before but it was so fun reminiscing and sharing all of my favorite photos with you all. If you haven’t seen the post yet, it’s under the bridal tab in my blog menu.
So I am still waiting for Houston to cool down but even though the weather hasn’t caught up with my current wardrobe obsessions lately, I am hopeful for a good cold front any day now please. I have really been picking up a lot of different textures lately. I have to say that mixing prints and textures really elevates a look. I have on this amazing tweed jacket and mixed in with velvet textured pieces with tones that scream fall.
Now that we are entering that time of year, it’s time to bring out all the burgundy tones and lipsticks are no exception. I used a red lippie and lined it with a brown/burgundy lip pencil. Making sure to blend the edges, it created somewhat of an ombre look. I love doing this to give the lipstick some dimension and it is definitely going to be a fall favorite of mine!
