White and Navy Jumper
Welcome to Wednesday peeps! I have been learning how to edit videos this week and am working on a new makeup video now. I have to say, I have been told many times to start doing videos but it’s always so daunting and scary to think about editing it correctly. That’s probably one of the reasons why I have never tried it before. I would say to myself, “well you don’t know how to edit it and that’s probably really hard so focus on what you can do well and that’s photos and blog posts.” Well that was completely the wrong attitude. You should always try the things you are afraid of if it can expand your audience or capabilities. There are so many resources on YouTube too that help you navigate the scary world of video editing and they make it so easy with screen capture video etc. I will say that after doing my first one, there are already a bunch of things that I will change for the next ones but I’m enjoying the process so far and hope to maybe put out a few videos a month.
I originally started a YouTube channel with my bestie and fellow blogger Laura but we launched it maybe a month before I moved to Texas and our schedules and distance from Miami to Boca never really matched up after we launched the first one. We talk still literally everyday and discussed it recently and she gave me the green light to go on full speed alone while she works on other projects. Now I am curious if I should still keep the catchy YouTube name “Blogging & Broke” (which in a name states the fact that no matter how much you buy, you always want more. The shopping cycle never ends!) or if I should just use my Instagram handle as a name. Hmmmm. If you have any thoughts, send it my way.
On to the reason I blog to begin with… the outfit. I have been into pieces that tie lately and I love the fact that you can tie or wear this jumper many ways. I was told by my photographer Yash that thin blue stripes are the worst to shoot for the always come out with a purple tint so excuse the weird color. We even tried it in two different locations just to see if the weird tint would go away. Hence the random photo at the end of this post lol. I guess that barcode stripe material really doesn’t photograph well but you can look at it online and see it’s the prettiest navy and white color. I wish it came in more colors cause this cut really slims you and gives you a bunch of options on how to wear it.
