So as I was getting ready for a night out with my girlfriends I thought I would share with you a really glam fall makeup look I have been using that I showed off this past Friday night on my Instagram stories. Once fall rolls around, I tend to do a lot more deep berry, burgundy, and gold tones, which I love, and a vampy-ish look and a little sparkle totally gets me in the spirit.
I recently grabbed a bunch of new products while browsing the cosmetic aisles at Walmart. They had so many beautiful colors and really pigmented tones that are perfect for the glam girl like myself. I went to town and literally walked out with a ton of things to try out and here were my favorites:
THIS 21 shade palette was honestly such a good find. I absolutely am in love with all the berry jewel tones and gold shimmers that this palette has. Their other palettes are all crazy pigmented too. You won’t believe the price either. It’s really a steal. I actually liked it so much that I picked up THIS one and THIS one as well. I actually like THIS one even better for it is the perfect size for travel and has my favorite tones all in one little compact.
The true hero item of this haul thought is actually these liquid glitter eyeshadows I got. When I say this took my fall makeup look to the next level, I am telling no lies!!! First of all, these shadows are so pigmented and they have a thick consistency so that they stay in place and don’t run or move around. I dabbed them on the center of my lids on top of my shadow to add some more dimension and holy cow!!! Insane color payoff!! You don’t actually believe what they cost either. I didn’t notice the price when I bought them but when I later looked at the receipt, I was fully shook. You can carry these babies into the holiday as well as New Years too. They will be your new favorite products this season I swear. I bought the colors Copper Pop and Flirty Birdy. I have used both and they’re both so beautiful. A new holy grail favorite.
Ok before I get to lips, I wanted to share this product that isn’t necessarily needed for a fall look but I needed a new one and decided to try one out. I have been using the same concealer for years. It’s expensive and it works and I haven’t really dabbled with anything else in a while but I was going to dinner that night and had run out of my usual one and didn’t have time to order a replacement. I decided to just grab one I saw while in the cosmetic aisle at Walmart and thought if I don’t like it, I can just give it away. I got THIS one in the shade Medium Sand, which is a yellow based tone to brighten and highlight underneath my eyes. Also to note, although I have an oily complexion, I liked that this one said it was hydrating because if I get dry anywhere on my face, it is below my eyes because of all the baking I do with powder afterwards. Not thinking this concealer would do anything but be a short substitute, HOLY COW it blew my socks off. It was so pigmented, had a wide wand (which I prefer), and blended so extremely well that I literally had to do a double take. Yeah it’s that good. And for the price, well let’s just say I have been converted.
Lastly, I wanted to go into these lips shades. Anytime I am wearing a lip color that has a bright color, I judge it not just on its application but also on its staying power. If I can get through multiple courses through dinner along with beverages and leave the restaurant with no cracking, peeling, or loss of color on the inside lining of the lips, it’s a winner for me. These two products that I used were not only pigmented but also extremely smooth with a ton of staying power. You will need a good makeup remover to get it off at the end of the night but that’s fine by me. I used THIS crayon in the color Make It Happen on the bottom all over the lips and THIS liquid lipstick in the shade Founder on top but only in the center for a bit of an ombre effect.
All of these products are great quality items and are so well priced. I honestly think you all should check out some of the ones I mentioned. You will not be disappointed. Happy Fall Ya’ll!!!
Special thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post. All opinions are truly my own.
