Hello loves! This week is an exciting week for Andrew and I. He is closing on his retail project out here in Houston today and it has been a long time coming. I am so proud of him and I can’t wait to celebrate with him and his business partner at dinner tonight. This project was the reason that we moved to Houston in the first place and there was a lot of hard work, negotiations, and stress that came along with that. I was also really scared to move my blog to Texas for I had developed a good reputation in Miami and had a follower base there. Now 4 months and 12 days later, I have to say that we have reached a very important moment and I am so glad that we did take that leap of faith and move our little family.
It’s only fitting that I posted this outfit that we shot in downtown Houston today. I love the buildings in this area and they were the perfect backdrop for this outfit. This top actually comes in a set and is so cute. I paired it with this polka dotted mini skirt and brought out the red with a pop of color on the lips and with some red accessories. While shooting this, I actually had an audience for I was positioned right in front of a bus stop. Kinda gets awkward sometimes when people stare while we’re shooting but I’ve kinda learned how to tune it out. I had brought a Coca Cola can as a prop that day and it’s funny for I could hear the people waiting for the bus saying quietly how now they really wanted a Coke. It made me laugh for it’s fun to be an influencer even when I’m not on the internet.
