Olive Green Mini…

Hello loves! I think this the first week where I am not surprised that Friday is here. This week was so long!!! This time of year is always a little weird for bloggers in Miami for most of the country is experiencing 20 degree temperatures. I always struggle about showcasing pieces like this cause it can be a little bit out of reality for most of the country. I always say keep that dress in your closet that you can’t wait to wear until it warms up or when you really want to show of that body you have been working so hard on. I get it, I used to live in NYC and I used to dream about moving back to Florida where I had been accustomed to the warm and humid climate.

I also always go back and forth with myself on if I should be attending NYFW this time of year but honestly, I just cant hack it. There is a certain kind of painful cold where fashion and fun just go out the window and I happily watch all the shows from social media stories and feeds from my couch in sunny South Florida. I makes me feel bad at times because I feel like I am missing out on opportunities but there is a line I have to realize and not cross when going painfully out of my comfort zone. There is good pain and bad pain. NYC in February is what I consider the latter.

Speaking of opportunities, I will be joining a panel with a bunch of other bloggers here in Miami next month  and I am really excited to meet some new people and grow the Pretty Yellow Things brand. I’ll make sure to give out more info once I receive it. As for the dress that I am wearing here, isn’t it cute?! I love the white ruffle trim on the edges of the dress and the olive color is just so pretty. Shop the look below and if you are currently experiencing threats of snow, put this baby in your closet while dreaming of spring or your next vacation. Until next time!
