The Blogging World

Hello loves! We are finally stepping into the weekend and I couldn’t be happier. With blogging, I have to say that the beginning was really slow. I was trying to find my own style identity and I was eager to get more exposure and I often dreamed about having the opportunities that I do now. I never realized how difficult it would be but I love every little bit of it. I feel so blessed to see myself and my blog exposure growing and improving everyday so I almost get mad at myself when I feel overwhelmed and exhausted because this was exactly what I had hoped and prayed for. Although I am so pleased to be going in the direction that I am going in, it’s still ok to be tired right? I try not to miss out on any opportunities and to appreciate each moment.
Having been blogging for almost a year, I really hope to not loose momentum and to continue to push towards bigger and better opportunities. I have to say that when I worked for a boss in my previous jobs, whether it was in retail or hospitality, It was almost comforting to have someone telling me what to do. You understood the rules and if you did A, B, and C, you would be successful. With running your own business, there is no training, there are no guidelines, and there is no preparation. You often have to figure out everything for yourself.
I have been getting more and more emails from people asking me about blogging and how I started and the tips and tricks I used when developing my brand and I feel that it would be so helpful to join up with a few other entrepreneurs and conducting a workshop. One of my best friends/fellow girl bosses approached me with this idea today. I think it would be a great experience for everyone to bond and thrive off of other #girlboss energies and to clear out some of the fogginess for when starting your own business. Just some of the rambling thoughts that I deciding to share with you all today lol. If any of you would be interested in something like this, shoot me an email. I’d love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by!
